Question by john: Can I give Aleve to my 120 pounds, older dog – (arthritis )?

Alright I’m not a vet but I do work with dogs and have experience.
Honestly giving your dog Aleve is probably not the best choice considering it is not designed for dogs. There is probably a special pain med that you can find specially designed for dogs.

weve already given her tylenol but it didnt help for long. shes fixin to die so were just tryin to help get her last couple of months the best we can she can still walk but she is always in pain. weve already taken her to the vets and all hes said is give her tylenol (which didnt work) plz help my dog. but it needs to be cheap plz.
we gave her childs tylenol
and she has cancer so we arent sure which is bothering her worse

I have a 10 year old female boxer that has arthritis. She was doing ok but the symptoms got worse through time. She can’t even get off the floor. She still eats and drinks water i have tried every medicine i could think of but nothing has helped her. She even started doing the restroom laying on the floor. What should i do or give her. Thanks for the help.
i took her to the vet and all they told me is that she has arthitis…that i should buy this medicine and thats what i did but it didn’t work. What do vets do with animals they put down?
