Dog Arthritis Treatment

I have an Old English Sheep dog, he is now almost 10 years old and he´s got arthritis, so besides Rymadil, is theer anything I can do to easen the pain and disconfort? Does excersise help?

My daughter has already asked the question about giving the dog Tylenol, and of course we were advised not to. It was said we should give her baby aspirin instead. She is 7-1/2 years old (Mastiffs usually live only 8 years), and she has a miserable time getting up on her hind legs because of arthritis pain. I’m just trying to keep her comfortable in her ending months. She still seems fine otherwise, just sort of crippled.
