  1. barry_my says:

do not give your dog any over-the-counter human medication without the ok from your vet. you could kill your dog.

  2. leftygir says:

Never give your dog tylenol! It is not safe for dogs. Always check with your vet before giving any kind of meds, especially those made for people. There are some you can use (like buffered aspirin), but the dosage is always different than that on the label. The most commonly prescribed arthritis medication for dogs is Rimadyl. Talk to your vet before you give him anything.

  3. flyer82 says:

don’t give anything without talking to your vet. they can give you a dose of asprin which will be safe for your dogs size. asprin works but is tough on the stomach and there are also better products made specifically for pets such as rimadyl or metacam.

  4. evilkitt says:

NO!!!!Tylenol is toxic to dogs!!! You can only give Buffered Aspirin at a dose of 325mg per 60lbs. Or go to a vet for a veterinary medicine.

  5. sunshine says:

no. you can give aspirin, but only a very small dose. My 25 lb pug can only have 1/2 of a BABY aspirin

  6. Darla_11 says:

Check with your vet before administering any medications.

  7. Orange_S says:

  8. Dr. Bugly says:

  9. fvwalls says:

no tylenol!! it’s bad for their liver.

  10. peggysus says:

No, Tylenol can kill dogs, in a pinch, you can give aspirin or ibuprofen(Advil,Motrin etc.).

  11. irishnge says:

NO! DO NOT! Go to the vet he can give you a script called rymodyl. Trust me! Call your local vet and see. He may tell you that it will be o.k. to do that 1 time only . Until you get him in to see the vet. I do not suggest it. Dogs are dogs they are not human. Although I like to think of mine as such but we all know that it is not true. Giving your dog human medications may (in fact WILL!) cause more problems than you bargained for . If you love him you won’t!
    GOOD LUCK TO YA!
